On September 25th deputies in Ontario County reported to a home in the Town of Richmond for a noise complaint.
When deputies arrived they found a large underage drinking party taking place. Responding deputies observed several people running from the house and hiding in the woods. As a deputy approached the individuals hiding in the woods he encountered a belligerent male.
The male then approached the deputy and lifted his hooded sweatshirt — exposing the handle of a large knife in a threatening male. In the process, the male allegedly also made a verbal threat.
He was identified as Travis M. Gary, 22, of Farmington and was charged with menacing a police officer — a Class D felony. The host of the party, who was the homeowner, was charged with violating the social host law, as well.
