The New York State Police report that on Saturday a fatal accident in Sterling took place involving two cars — around 1:30 pm.
Authroties say that the head-on crash happened on State Route 104 near the State Barn Road intersection, which is located near the border of Victory.
Three individuals were transported to Upstate University Hospital with serious injuries, according to authorities. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident involved a Honda and a Buick — the individual operating the Honda was the sole fatality.
Multiple agencies assisted with the investigation and clean up from the accident. However, authorities have not released the identities of any involved in the accident.
