Quilt Raffle to benefit Seneca County United Way – Drawing on 9/21

Time is running out to purchase tickets for the beautiful queen sized Bargello quilt with all proceeds supporting programs and services of the United Way of Seneca County. The quilt, constructed with batik fabrics, was made in honor of Dick Laude of Seneca Falls and has been appraised at more than $1200.
Marti and Bob McDannel, neighbors of Mr. Laude, benefitted from his generosity as he helped with their taxes for many years and would not take any payment. Marti decided to repay him with a quilt to benefit an organization important to him and one in which he has been involved for more than 20 years.
Tickets are $5 for 1 or $20 for 5. They are available through the United Way office at Main Street Shops in Waterloo. The drawing takes place on September 21, 2016 at the Chamber’s Business After Hours.
The United Way of Seneca County partners with local agencies and community initiatives to make our county a better place to live and work. For tickets for the raffle, contact United Way at 315.539.1135 or email [email protected].
