A Victor woman falsely reported an incident in an effort to get out of a ticket, according to deputies in Ontario County.
On September 10 in the Town of Manchester during a routine traffic stop — deputies were directed to 2 Kendall St. in the Village of Clifton Springs for the report of an individual with chest pains and distress call.
Upon arrival deputies discovered that there was no emergency at the location. Catherine M. Carlson, 45, of Victor was ticketed for speeding and is being accused of falsely reporting an incident in the third degree.
Carlson was issued an appearance ticket to the Village of Clifton Springs Court, which will be answered at a later date.
