Police: Schuyler home health aide charged with grand larceny

Delinda K. Buchanan, 41 years old of Savona, was arrested on Monday and charged with 12 counts Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the first degree, a class E felony and Grand Larceny in the third degree, a class D felony.

It is alleged that Buchanan who is a home health aide submitted 12 time cards containing false information and received more than $5,000 pay from the Schuyler County Department of Social Services as a result.

Buchanan was arraigned in the Village of Montour Falls Court and released to appear at a later date.
