Ithaca PD seeks videos of August 28th homicide

Ithaca Police Department Deputy Chief Vince Monticello confirms that the Police Department is still accepting videos that captured the homicide in Ithaca on August 28th. Deputy Chief Monticello stated “Crucial video evidence has been submitted to IPD already, and Investigators are confident that more videos exist but have not been submitted as of yet. Today I am renewing our request for those videos that have not been submitted yet. Snapchat videos, iPhone videos, whatever. We need to see these videos to help put the final pieces of the puzzle together. Please help us bring closure to the families of both victims. You can remain anonymous if you want to”.

Regarding the homicide investigation Chief Barber recently stated “please help us solve this case and bring justice to those responsible. Think back to where you were around 2:00 am on August 28th. If you were anywhere near the intersection of College Avenue and Campus Road please call Investigators. They want to speak to you even if you don’t have anything to do with the homicide. Perhaps you saw something trivial or inconsequential, but to our Investigators it might just be that one piece of key evidence that helps to sort out just exactly what happened”.
