Unchanged city comp plan back for adoption in Geneva

The city’s Comprehensive Plan and Community Decision-Making Guide is back for adoption Wednesday night after a one-month delay. Adoption of the plan was tabled last month after a council member asked for more specific language in the document outlining opposition to mining and landfill operations in the region.

The lack of changes could mean questions being raised again, but it would appear as though with only one councilor being opposed to it the first time around – that the second time could be the charm.
