The town is seeking proposals for the purchase and reuse of the former Village Hall at 60 State St. The building, originally a train station, was renovated into a municipal building and police department in the 1980s. When the village dissolved at the end of 2011, the town took over the facility, although the new, townwide police force remained in the south side of the building.
