Village Democrats are endorsing the Republican mayor and a trustee, as well as one Democrat, following a caucus in early August.
Current Village Trustee Roland Kanaley was the only Democrat to be nominated to one of the trustee positions, while incumbent Mayor Jerry Fremouw, a Republican, was cross-endorsed, as was incumbent Trustee Mike Nicolette, also a Republican, said Galen Democratic Committee Chairman Tom Caprilla.
