Multiple felony charges for man who violated order of protection, sent threatening voicemails to victim

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on August 26 at 6:29 pm a Montour Falls man was arrested following a domestic incident.

The incident allegedly occurred on August 26 at a residence on County Road 139. Deputies say that Kenton Jones-Watkins, 22, of Montour Falls violated an order of protection by sending threatening voice and text messages to a victim. He was arraigned in Covert Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond.

He was charged with aggravated family offense — a Class E felony, as well as criminal contempt in the first degree — a Class E felony, and aggravated harassment in the second degree.
