A Palmyra man was arrested after a domestic incident, which occurred on Friday around 11:15 pm.
Deputies say that Damien Smith Jr. was arrested for assault in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face while she held their daughter.
Smith was arrested and brought to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention. He will answer the charges in Manchester Town Court.
