Seneca Falls man rubs feces on holding cell wall after being arrested following domestic

On Wednesday at 10:05 am police in Seneca Falls arrested a 47-year-old resident in connection with a domestic incident, which occurred in July.

Authorities say Otis E. Montgomery, 47, of Seneca Falls was arrested for harassment in the second degree, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, petit larceny, criminal tampering in the third degree and criminal mischief in the second degree.

Montgomery is accused of striking a family member during a domestic incident that occurred at his residence on July 22 of this year. Montgomery is also accused of taking money belonging to the family member, as well as a vehicle without their permission.

While in custody Montgomery allegedly rubbed his feces all over the wall of the holding cell and plugged the toilet with his arm causing contaminated toilet water to flood the cell and office.

The entire site had to be professionally cleaned. Montgomery was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where he is currently being detained on a parole violation.

His next appearance in court will be in Seneca County Court at a later date.
