Seneca Falls man hospitalized after striking tree on Gravel Rd.


Authorities say a Seneca Falls man was hospitalized following a one car crash on Gravel Road in the Town of Seneca Falls.

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that an investigation into an accident on Gravel Road, which occurred around 11:08 am on Wednesday revealed that Kyle J. Martin, 23, of Seneca Falls was northbound on the road when his vehicle left the roadway — striking a tree.

Authorities say that Martin was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for head and abdominal injuries. His vehicle suffered extensive damage and Martin was admitted to Geneva General for treatment.

Martin was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, failure to use designated lane, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and possession of a controlled substance outside it’s original container.

The Seneca Falls Fire Department assisted at the scene.
