Man charged with DWI in Hopewell after rollover

A Clifton Springs man sustained minor injuries after his vehicle crashed on Sunday evening in the Town of Hopewell.

Deputies say that Harold A. Blair, 39, was operating his 1994 Ford Ranger on State Route 5 when he tried to turn onto Route 247 — losing control of the vehicle. The vehicle reportedly skidded and flipped over before coming to rest.

Blair was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, operation without an interlock device, no seat belt, and unreasonable speed. Deputies say that Blair was charged with felony DWI due to a previous DWI conviction in the last 10 years.

Deputies say that Blair was not seriously injured in the accident.
