Geneva firefighter recovering after collapse on Reed St.

A local firefighter who collapsed during a Monday-morning incident that resulted in an arrest is recovering at a Rochester-area hospital. The firefighter collapsed after the Geneva Fire Department companies responded to a blaze behind 73 Reed St. shortly after 5 a.m. In a press release sent Wednesday, Fire Chief Mike Combs said crews arrived to find a barn behind the house on fire.
