Seneca Falls man accused of striking victim with rolling pin, choking them during domestic incident

Authorities in Seneca Falls say that a 69-year-old Seneca Falls man was arrested and charged following a domestic incident, which allegedly took place in the Town of Seneca Falls on August 13, 2016.

Officers were called to residence in the Town where Roy L. Fowler was arrested on a variety of charges related to the domestic incident. Fowler was charged with assault in the third degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment in the second degree.

Fowler is accused of using a kitchen rolling pin to strike a victim during a domestic incident. He then allegedly choked the victim and held the individual down, which prompted the additional charges. The victim sustained multiple injuries, but refused treatment. The incident occurred in the presence of three children.

A stay away order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. Fowler will answer the charges at a later date.
