Furry lives matter. Members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office are mourning the death of their K-9 police dog, Izak. The 8-year-old dog died of cancer Aug. 3, and the department has planned a memorial ceremony for him at 11 a.m. Sept. 8 at the Law Enforcement Center on Route 96.
