A Geneva man was found to be in possession of 22 bags of cocaine after a routine traffic stop on Exchange St., according to the Geneva Police Department.
Authorities say the traffic stop was performed when routine traffic violations were observed by Geneva Police Officers. Juan A. Castro-Gonzales, 33, of Geneva was identified as the driver of the vehicle and during the stop — he was found to be in possession of 22 bags of cocaine.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree — a Class B felony. Bail was set at $25,000 cash, and $50,000 bond at time of arraignment.
