Geneva man arrested after threatening officers during fire on Reed St.

On Sunday at 5:09 am the Geneva Police Department responded to 73 Reed Street for the report of an individual menacing with a long gun as the Geneva Fire Department was actively fighting a fire at the same location.

Officers arrested Joseph M. Tracey, 35, of Geneva on the charge of menacing a police officer — a Class D felony following an investigation.

An active criminal fire investigation was launched and is happening in coordination with the Geneva Fire Department and Ontario County Emergency Management at this time.
