A Geneva man was arrested on animal cruelty charges after he allegedly drove through a flock of seagulls, killing two of them.
Deputies in Ontario County say that Joel Torrez-Diaz, 28, of Geneva was charged with torturing an animal in violation of the agriculture and markets law. The charge is a misdemeanor. Deputies say he struck and killed two of the birds.
He will answer the charges at a later date.
