Geneva man charged with aggravated DWI at checkpoint on 96A

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 29, at approximately 8:37 pm a Geneva man was arrested for driving while intoxicated while performing a safety checkpoint on State Route 96A in the Town of Romulus.

Deputies say Jason P. Munson, 30, of Geneva was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated — after it was determined that his BAC was above .18%.

He was released to a sober third-party and will appear in Romulus Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
