On Sunday, at 10:19 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Thomas H. Hunt, age 50 and Maria A. Hunt, age 49, both of Waterloo for petit larceny. The arrest stems from a complaint where Thomas and Maria were observed stealing property from the drop off site at the Salvation Army located at 2109 State Route 5 in the Town of Seneca Falls. The couple were stopped by police leaving the scene and arrested on State Route 414. They were both charged with one count of petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor and released on appearance tickets. They are both scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on August 15th, at 6:00 pm to answer for the charges.
