On Monday, at approximately 7:52 am deputies in Ontario County responded to the intersection of State Route 332 and Loomis Road in the Town of Farmington for a two car accident with injuries.Farmington Fire and EMS responded to the scene along with Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies, and upon arrival it was found that a vehicle being operated by Ryann Cook, 33, of Farmington was traveling northbound on State Route 332 — east of Loomis Road when he failed to see a vehicle stopped at the intersection being operated by L.J. Matrangelo, 33, of Farmington. Mastrangelo’s vehicle was struck from behind causing extensive damage. Deputies say that Mastrangelo was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital by Farmington Ambulance, where she was treated and released with a neck sprain.Cook was ticketed for following too closely and will answer the charge in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
