TCAT announces detours for Routes 20 and 43 effective 7/18

Route 20: Hector Street, between Hopper Pl. and Taylor Pl., will be closed for construction starting Monday, July 18, tentatively through Friday, July 29. The route will travel in both directions using Taughannock Blvd., Cliff St., Hopkins Pl., Campbell Ave., and onto Hector Street. (back onto normal route.) The bus stop for passengers that pick up or get off on Hector Street, below Campbell Avenue, will be relocated to Campbell Avenue @ Hector Street for the duration of the project. Route 43: the bridge at the intersection of Lake Road @ Lake Street Extension will be closed for construction starting Monday, July 18, tentatively through Thursday, August 11. The route will travel using Lake Road, Weber Street, and South Street (back onto normal route.) The bus stop for passengers that pick up on Lake St. will be relocated to South Street @ Lake Street for the duration of the project.
