On Monday at about 2:05 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Adam C. Miller, age 22 of 7180 Main Street in Ovid, on charges of Robbery in the Third Degree (Class D Felony), and Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor), following an investigation on Main Street in the Village of Ovid. The charges stem from an incident where Miller allegedly stole a cellular phone from a female victim after forcibly removing it from her. During the incident, Miller allegedly punched the female victim in the face and fled the scene on foot.A short time later, Miller was located by a Seneca County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and was taken into custody.The victim was not injured and did not wish any medical attention.Miller was arraigned in the Fayette Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail or $1,000 secured bond. Miller is to reappear in the Fayette Town Court on July 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
