The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the following happenings in it’s monthly recap of activity.General Enforcement:– Total Calls For Service: 1098- Total Arrests: 28 Narcotics: – Total new drug cases: 13- Total arrests: 20 Corrections: – Average Number of Inmates: 81- Monthly Total Made for Boarding In: $57401.64; Yearly Total: $316,697.94Civil: – Total Summons/Complaints/Services: 51- Total Income Ex ecutions: 26- Total Evictions: 8Other HighlightsJune 1st: The new Family Services Unit was implemented. Almost immediately three domestic violence cases were adopted for further action and follow up by the F.S.U. June 8th: DARE FUN DAY was conducted at Vince’s Park in Seneca Falls. Over 300 5th graders from all Seneca County Public Schools attended for a day of fun and interaction with Officers.June 8th: The Narcotics Unit concluded a Drug Sweep operation involving area drug dealers. The investigation lasted several months. Five adult males were arrested for trafficking crack cocaine and heroin in Seneca County.June 13th: A Residential Burglary in the Town of Tyre was solved. Two Burglars were arrested for stealing $10,000 from an occupied residence.
