The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 2nd a Williamson man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a property damage car accident on Marvin Sands Drive in Canandaigua. Deputies say that Anthony William Campisi, 28, of Williamson was charged with driving while intoxicated following an investigation into an incident where he struck another vehicle from behind. Deputies responded to a rear end crash in which a motorcycle was struck from behind, and later arrested Campisi on the charge of driving while intoxicated.No injuries were reported, according to deputies. Campisi was issued tickets and released to a third party. He will appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
