The Seneca County House of Concern will be raffling off a Stand Up Paddle Board in connection with the inaugural Canal Crawl Paddling Poverty. The paddle board is a Stand on Liquid Sunset 11’6″ soft top paddle board with a suggested retail value of $950. Only 500 tickets will be made available to increase the odds of winning. The cost is $5.00 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.00. Tickets will be available at the Seneca County House of Concern Thrift Store at 35 State Street in Seneca Falls, New Beginnings Boutique at 103 Fall Street in Seneca Falls, and through board members. The raffle ticket sale will kick-off on Saturday, July 9th at Canal Fest in Seneca Falls at the House of Concern tent. The drawing will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the completion of the Canal Crawl event. Also, the organizers of the event have simplified the registration process by providing easy online registration. Simply go to houseofconcern.org website and click on Canal Crawl Paddling Poverty where you can read all about the event and submit your registration forms and payment online. Because of our generous sponsors, including The Young Agency, del Lago Resort & Casino, Seneca Daily and Fuzzy Guppies, 100% of the proceeds will go toward serving the Seneca County House of Concern’s Mission: “To help those in need with basic needs such as food, clothes, and household items and to treat everyone with dignity and respect.” For more information about this event go to houseofconcern.org, email [email protected], or call (315) 5682433.
