On Tuesday around 5:30, deputies in Ontario County were called to the scene of a personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 7 and County Road 27 in the Town of Manchester.Deputies say that a vehicle operated by Carrie O’Neill struck another vehicle from the rear as she was traveling southbound along County Road 7 in the Town of Manchester. As result of the accident, deputies say that the operator of the second vehicle — Mary Jo Janas — was transported to Newark Wayne Hospital by Port Gibson Fire Department Ambulance for pain in her right shoulder.All parties involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident and airbags in O’Neill’s vehicle deployed. O’Neill was issued a citation for the incident and will answer to the charge in Manchester Town Court.
