The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal agricultural accident that occurred off of State Route 224 in the Town of Catherine at approximately 10:00 pm, on Sunday.Phillip C. Harrington, age 67, of State Route 224 of Alpine was operating a tractor clearing brush when a large branch struck Harrington, pinning him to his seat. While information is still somewhat limited within the investigation, deputies say they are working quickly to piece together the details of what happened that evening. Odessa Fire Department, Schuyler Ambulance and New York State Police assisted at the scene.
