A Canandaigua man was charged with stealing assorted items from his employer on Friday, which deputies in Ontario County say was Finger Lakes Pool & Spa.Deputies were flagged down by a passer by who reported seeing a white male subject carrying items from the rear of Finger Lakes Pool & Spa, which they believed was a theft in progress. While deputies were checking the report, the male returned to the business.Further investigation revealed that scrap metal and pumps had been stolen and hidden by Roger J. Perrin, 53, of Canandaigua at his girlfriend’s apartment. He was arrested and charged with petit larceny, as well as trespass. He is being held at the Ontario County Jail.
