Car strikes pedestrian in Ithaca

On Thursday, at approximately 9:15 am the Ithaca Police Department reports that a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of West Buffalo Street and North Meadow Street. The report came in shortly after 9 am, and when officers arrived they located the victim sitting in the roadway. The victim was conscious and able to communicate with medical personnel who were tending to her wounds.The victim was then trasnported to Cayuga Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Ithaca Police Department is continuing the investigation.
