On Monday at approximately 1:36 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Gregory M. Stivers, 26, of Newark following an investigation into an incident involving a female victim, which a stay away order of protection had been issued.Stivers was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree — a misdemeanor. Police say he called and sent multiple text messages to a former girlfriend, who was protected by a stay away order of protection. Stivers was arraigned in Fayette Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $10,000 insurance bond.He will appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on July 6th.
