On June 17th at 5:58 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Seneca Falls resident following an investigation into a series of thefts from a residence in May.Police say Daniel J. Smith, 29, of Seneca Falls was charged with burglary in the third degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. He was also charged with petit larceny.The arrest stems from an investigation into a series of reported thefts from a Seneca Falls residence in May of this year. Smith was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 insurance bond.Smith appeared in Seneca Falls Town Court on June 22nd to answer the charges.
