The Seneca Falls Business Association is inviting all boaters, kayakers, jet skiers, and all other watercraft owners and operators to participate in the AQUACADE Watercraft Parade on Saturday, July 9th at 4 pm, at the upcoming Seneca Falls Canal Fest.The three day celebration will be held on July 8th through the 10th along both sides of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal. There will be $500 in prizes awarded to the Best Decorated Watercraft. There is no fee to participate but watercraft must be decorated to qualify for the prizes. All participants must register in advance and there will be plenty of locations to dock/moor in the Canal Harbor. When you leave your “spot” to participate in the parade, you may return to that location if you wish – YOUR SPACE WILL BE RESERVED !There will be Fireworks afterward and watercraft are invited to view the extravaganza from Van Cleef Lake. Free docking will be available for all watercraft. Watercraft can utilize the docks as early as Thursday, July 7th and remain throughout the event. The Canal Harbor offers free electrical hook-ups as well as phone & internet services.
