On Tuesday the Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Brenden C. Lofton, age 38 of Canandaigua, for criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree after he possessed a loaded Glock .45 caliber semi automatic handgun and did not have a NYS Pistol Permit.Through the investigation, it was determined that Lofton had gone to his father’s residence earlier in the day and took the Glock which was stored in the bedroom closet.Lofton was remanded to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention. He was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court on Wednesday where bail was set at $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond.
