The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that on June 15th at approximately 7:00 pm officers arrested Damon D. Steele, 18, and Joelito L. Fernandez, 17, both of Seneca Falls following an investigation into a residence that had been burglarized on Seneca Road in the Town of Seneca Falls.Fernandez is accused of entering into a residence and stealing a large amount of change. Steele is accused of aiding Fernandez in committing the theft. Both were charged with burglary in the second degree, grand larceny in the fourth, and conspiracy in the fourth — all of which are felonies.Both were arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 insurance bond. They will reappear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
