The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on June 11th a Varick home was a total loss after a fire on Kings Corners Road. Deputies arrived around 2:37 pm to 5198 Kings Corners Road and say that heavy smoke was showing from the structure and that it was fully engulfed with flames. The house was owned by Kyle and Meghan Patchen of the same address.The Romulus Fire Department was the lead agency on the scene and was assisted by Fayette, Varick, Canoga, and Ovid Fire Departments. South Seneca Ambulance and the Red Cross assisted at the scene. The fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
