SC Chamber to host ribbon cutting ceremony for the Deerhead

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, June 23rd at noon to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Deerhead Lakeside Restaurant & Bar in Seneca Falls.”We are excited to help launch the next chapter in the distinguished history of the Deerhead Restaurant,” said Chamber President Jeff Shipley. “Visitors and residents alike have long enjoyed the food and atmosphere of this lakeside restaurant and, under the new management of Craig Moore and Don Cook, we look forward to the restaurant’s continued growth and development as a top culinary destination in the Finger Lakes Region.” As part of the celebration, lunch and drink specials will be featured along with wine tastings from several Cayuga Lake wineries. Chamber members are encouraged to attend the event and showcase the local business community’s strength and support. Started in 1929 by the Morehouse family, the restaurant’s family tradition continues – as the new owners are also siblings. “Serving both tourists and the local community, we are excited to continue moving the Deerhead forward and contributing to its evolution by focusing on providing a friendly service and delicious food,” stated owner Craig Moore. Hours of operation are scheduled for Monday thru Friday from 11 am until 10 pm. Saturday hours are 12-10 pm and Sunday 12-9 pm.
