Today the Canandaigua Police Department arested Lauren M. McClellan, age 20 of Penfield, with grand larceny in the fourth degree. McClellan is accused of stealing $1,297 from an elderly relative by making several unauthorized cash withdrawals and purchases with the victim’s debit/credit card. The unlawful activity occurred between March 12 and April 25 of this year.McClellan was arraigned in City Court and released on her own recognizance; an order of protection was issued by the Court in favor of the victim.
