On Sunday at approximately 3:11 pm members of the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested an Interlaken man for failing to change his address.Michael A. Brewer, 39, of Interlaken is a New York State Level 2 Registered Sex Offender, and was charged with failure to change address — a class D felony. Brewer reportedly changed his residency on May 21st to an address in Seneca Falls, which he had allegedly been living at for months.The day after Brewer filed the address change, officers spoke with witnesses who said that he had been living at his “new” address for approximately three months before reporting the address change. Brewer was arraigned in front of Judge Laquidari in Seneca Falls Town Court where he was then committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 insurance bond. He is due back in court in Seneca Falls for a felony hearing on May 25th at 10:00 am.
