On May 20th, 2015 at 11:56 am Seneca Falls Police arrested John J. Walters, Jr., 38, of Seneca Falls following the execution of a search warrant at his residence. Police say Walters was charged with burglary in the second degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree. The charges stem from an investigation into a residential burglary that occurred on May 18th. The search warrant yielded items, which had been stolen as well as a quantity of a controlled substance. Walters was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,500 cash bail or $7,000 insurance bond and is scheduled to reappear on May 25th at 8:30 am.
