On Friday a Trumansburg man was arrested following an investigation into a domestic incident, which occurred at a residence in Trumansburg.Deputies in Seneca County arrested Michael J. Schott, 41, of Trumansburg and charged him with two counts of criminal contempt in the second degree. His arrest stems from when deputies responded to his residence for the report of a domestic dispute. Deputies say they later learned that the female victim and her 16-year-old daughter were both at the location when Schott, should not have been, as per a previous protection order.Schott was arraigned in Lodi Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. He will answer the charges in Covert Town Court on June 6th. Trumansburg Police assisted at the scene, according to deputies.
