According to USA TODAY, Watkins Glen International has emerged as the front-runner for a Verizon IndyCar Series race on Labor Day weekend.The Sept. 2-4 weekend recently was vacated by the Grand Prix of Boston, and IndyCar and the decision-makers operating the track in Schuyler County have moved quickly on a possible deal. An announcement could come this week, according to a person close to the negotiations.IndyCar last raced at Watkins Glen International in 2010.Read more at sports.usatoday.com
