A Canandaigua man faces a reckless endangerment charge after reporting a vehicle driving recklessly on State Route 5&20, and chasing after another vehicle, which was later involved in a motor vehicle accident.Benjamin A. Torres, 19, of Canandaigua was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree and is currently being held at the Ontario County Jail awaiting arraignment following the incident early Thursday morning.Torres allegedly reported one vehicle to be driving recklessly on 5&20 in the City of Canandaigua, and then pursued another vehicle with his — chasing a 19-year-old victim until she crashed her car in the Town of Canandaigua. When her vehicle crashed, Torres left the scene.A joint-investigation between Canandaigua Police and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Torres was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment in the second.He will answer the charge at a later date upon arraignment.
