Deputies in Seneca County arrested a Waterloo man following a domestic incident on Sunday evening, which occurred around 7:00 pm. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that they responded to 2238 Edwards Road in Waterloo for the report of a domestic dispute. Deputies arrested Michael Tighe, age 26, of the above address and charged him with various charges related to the incident.It is alleged that Tighe was involved in an altercation while in the presence of a child. Tighe refused to let the victims leave the residence and barricaded the door. He also allegedly broke a picture frame and threatened physical violence towards the victims, according to deputies.Tighe was charged with endangering the welfare of a child – a class A misdemeanor, unlwaful imprisonment in the second degree – a class A misdemeanor, criminal mischief in the fourth degree – a class A misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree – a violation. He was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court where he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 27th at 9:30 am. A class “A” order of protection was issued on behalf of the victims. Child Protective Services were notified of the incident.
