The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 19th an Ontario County Jail inmate was charged with assault in the second degree following an investigation, which revealed that on March 20th the individual caused physical injury to another inmate.
Jesse Lee Bartholomew, 29, of Canandaigua was charged with assault in the second degree following the investigation into the altercation which occurred on March 20th. The victim was transported to Thompson Hospital and treated for a facial laceration.He was arraigned in Hopewell Town Court and committed back to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
He will answer the charge at a later date.
