On Thursday at approximately 1:15 pm the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that they arrested a Waterloo man after failing to notify New York State of an address change. The suspect, who was brought into custody by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies was a registered sex offender and failed to notify New York State of an address change.Kyle J. Knaak, 24, of Waterloo was charged with failing to notify of an address change – a class E felony, as well as offering a false instrument for filing – a class E felony. Knaak is a level two New York State registered sex offender.He was arrested at his residence and charged with the above charges. The charges came after Knaak moved and failed to notify of an address change within 10 days of relocation. Knaak was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash, or $2,000 bond bail. He will appear at a later date to answer the charges.
