Geneva man charged with distributing crack in Waterloo

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 11th at about 11:10 am a Geneva man was arrested on several charges related to the sale and distribution of crack cocaine in local communities.Teshawn L. Jones, 23, of Geneva allegedly sold crack cocaine on two separate occasions recently in the Town of Waterloo. When Jones was taken into custody he attempted to conceal a quantity of crack cocaine intended to be sold, which was later discovered by deputies. Deputies say Jones was charged with:Two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree – class B felonies.Three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree – class B felonies.He was arraigned in Covert Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash or $10,000 secured bond. Jones will reappear in Waterloo Town Court on Thursday at 5:00 pm to answer the charges.The Narcotics Unit was assisted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Uniform Road Patrol and New York State Police, according to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce.
