The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 4th deputies arrested an Interlaken man for possessing a forged inspection sticker. Deputies say Gregory A. Whitley, 26, of Interlaken was arrested for criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree. Deputies observed a forged inspection sticker on Whitley’s vehicle. Upon further investigation deputies discovered Whitley also had a warrant out of Tompkins County for failure to pay fine. Whitley was arraigned in Covert Town Court and ROR’d. He is to reappear on April 19th in Ovid Town Court to answer the charges. Whitley was turned over to deputies in Tompkins County to answer the warrant.
